Bibliography

Just in case you plan to give this guy a bibliography, here's some hits I got in my university's electronic files:

  • Nature
    • "Children's Books : Stones, bones and stories", vol. 450 (2007), iss. 7172, pag. 949 (1).
Note: can't read it from a proxy server, so I don't know whether this deals with The Hobbit.
    • "In a hole in the ground.", vol. 446 (2007), iss. 7139, pag. 979 (1)
Note: other than its title, can't say much about it.
    • "Exhibition: A hobbit-forming show", vol. 425 (2003), iss. 6957, pag. 455 (1)
Note: official description: Offers information on an exhibit based on the science fiction book 'Lord of the Rings,' by J.R.R. Tolkien at the Science Museum in London, England. Application of mathematical modelling and virtual reality (ends thus, sic).

and of course his book, The Science of Middle-Earth. Hope it helps. -- Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:15, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks for that, Ederchil. I checked out the "Children's Books" one at my own university's online catalogue and it to be completely unrelated and irrelevant. I've finished edited this article now as I feel it's more than adequate when compared to more notable authors (like Humphrey Carpenter or Verlyn Flieger). Thanks for your help! --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 13:05, 27 December 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Checked them out, just now. As for length, then the more notable authors need more work too. As simple as that. They don't all have to be Tom Shippey, but not all Robert Foster either. -- Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 13:28, 27 December 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
