I agree the distinction between a moutain and a hill is somewhat arbritrary, anyhow. I have never checked on any of Christopher Tolkien's or J.R.R. Tolkien's maps that use contour lines whether all hills that have the same top contour line are called hills or whether there are some that are called "mountain". In addition the title of the sectio Individual mountains could be misunderstood. Some reads may think that individual mountains are mountains that are not part of a mountain chain and that mountains that are part of a mountain chain are mountain peaks. Caradras is part of the Misty Mountains and Mount Dolmed is part of the Blue Mountains. --Akhorahil 15:21, 6 January 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
