Name

Am I the only one who finds the name hideously cumbersome? Like saying "Canada English" or "Iran Farsi" or "Sweden Swedish" it just seems a nonsensical phrase to me.--Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:46, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Well, those are two separate arguments: regardless of what Tolkien's usage was surely a grammatically better alternative would be "Gondorian Sindarin". --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:58, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Interestingly enough, in the Unfinished Tales, there is an excerpt: "...Númenórean Sindarin used in Gondor in the naming of places and persons..." Based on this, the name of the Sindarin used by the Numenoreans in the Second Age and later in Gondor is called "Númenórean Sindarin", not "Gondor Sindarin".--Kulid123 16:14, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

I tried to delete as many references and articles of "Gondor Sindarin" as I could. There may be a few more. I could not rename/delete categories though I'm not sure how to do that.--Kulid123 17:59, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
