Two points:
1. the family tree is rather screwed up at the moment;
2. shouldn't this information be rather placed in the article Kings of Númenor? [After a rewrite, IMO.]

Arg ya it is, I'm working on a new Family Tree template that looks pretty nice so I'll try and fix those up soon. Regarding the Kings of Númenor, the tricky part is there were so many ruling Queens that it would be awkward to put them under Kings so one would have to have a Queens article which separates the information a bit too much in my opinion. I suppose we could just put the queens in Kings of Númenor but Rulers just seemed to allow both genders. Do you still vote for Kings? --Hyarion 11:00, 21 March 2006 (EST)
Well, in the Netherlands the official title of the royal head of state is 'King', be it a man or a woman on the throne. Of course, Queen Beatrix is referred to as Queen, but officially, we are ruled by the 'King of the Netherlands'. Wouldn't that be the same for other countries? Moreover, in Númenor the people were also ruled by Kings initially; only later on, this was changed to have also female rulers. The four Ruling Queens are therefore, in my opinion at least, the exceptions to the rule. So, to conclude, I would vote for moving this to Kings of Númenor. --Earendilyon 16:04, 21 March 2006 (EST)
I'm going to agree with you then. This way we can still use articles like Kings of Rohan without breaking the standard and switching to [Rulers of Rohan] (which isn't necessary since there were no female rulers). Our two votes equal about 100% of the community's votes so I think its fair to say the decision is final :) I'll make the move now, thanks for your input. --Hyarion 19:13, 21 March 2006 (EST)
