Not mentioned in The Silmarillion?

I don't recall this character being part of the Silmarillion Legendarium thus was he originally a draft character in Tolkien's earlier inceptions?

If not, where did he end up if it was Finwe he took the Second host of Elves then to be known as the Noldor?--Mibs 02:49, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

Latin

Just a curious little fact: "tata" means "father" in Latin (also in Spanish, Italian, Romanian, etc.). I wonder if that was deliberate or just a coincidence? I don't want to edit the main article since I'm new to the site. Here's a reference: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/tata#Latin
