Seeing as all then video games have been renamed, shouldn't the movies be renamed too? [[The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy]], for example? -- {{User:Ederchil/sig}} 10:16, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Is ''The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy'' really the name for the three films? It seems to me that the term was only used for DVD releases. Isn't it just ''The Lord of the Rings''? Perhaps we should rename this "''The Lord of the Rings'' (film series)", and change [[The Hobbit films]] to "''The Hobbit'' (film series)"?--{{User:KingAragorn/sig}} 16:18, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
