Variags as the Axe-wielding Men.

So the novel mentions never-before-seen Men at the Siege of Gondor that wielded axes and were bearded like Dwarves. Could it be possible that this was in reference to the Variags? EldritchNexus 15:45, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
