Tar-Ciryatan (Second Age 1634 – 2035, aged 401 years) was the 12th King of Númenor. He reigned for 160 years, from Second Age 1869 to 2029. He succeeded his father, Tar-Minastir.
Tar-Ciryatan was a great ship builder, and he waged war upon Middle-earth, bringing its treasures back to Númenor. His name literally means "Ship-builder".
