What is this "Perspective" field? Sage 18:22, 31 October 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think it means which of the four Hobbits is the focal point. --Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:50, 31 October 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Code question

why ''[[{{{book}}}|<span style="color:white">{{{book}}}</span>]]'' instead of just ''[[{{{book}}}]]''? The long version is already nested inseide a white span tag. Sage 19:02, 31 October 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Because all links are blue. You have to over-ride that separately. Trust me, I know what I'm doing! --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 20:06, 31 October 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

When we put {{ttchapter}} and then {{chapter}} they align well (one template over the other) but it's not nice since the template with the pic should be higher. So I tried to put {{chapter}} and then {{ttchapter}}, but it's messed up. How can we fix it? Which code needs tampering? It might be useful to include them both. Sage 19:54, 2 November 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't know what you're talking about. You need to show me some examples. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 21:38, 2 November 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hmmmm... go to An Unexpected Party and edit the page. Add {{hchapters}} below the {{chapter... infobox and click to see the preview. You will see that both templates align well, {{chapter... neatly below the {{hchapters}}. If you do it the other way around, put {{hchapters}} above the {{chapter... infobox and check the preview, you will that the templates don't look right. Why is that? Chapter length

I am trying to make infoboxes for the chapters of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Which edition of the novels should I use to determine the chapter length? -- DoctorWellington 20:32, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I just noticed that it says "paras". I'm assuming that means "paragraphs" as in "number of paragraphs"? -- DoctorWellington 23:41, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
