Third Age 1601 (abbreviated to T.A. 1601) is the 1601st year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 1601 was also known as S.R. 1 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Led by the Fallohide brothers Marcho and Blanco,[1] many Periannath migrate from Bree, and are granted land beyond Baranduin by Argeleb II.[2]
