Third Age 3008 (abbreviated to T.A. 3008) is the 3008th year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 3008 was also known as S.R. 1408 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- In the autumn Gandalf pays his last visit to Frodo[1] until 3018.[2]
- Death of Rorimac Brandybuck.[3]
