Tolkien Studies: Volume 1 is the first volume of the annual review Tolkien Studies.

Carl F. Hostetter's article "Sir Orfeo: A Middle English Version by J.R.R. Tolkien" reprints the 1944 text of Sir Orfeo as edited by Tolkien, together with his editorial note (pp. 85-123).[1]
