"Tosser Grubb" is a concept which has only appeared in an adaptation of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Tosser Grubb is a Hobbit of the Shire who appears in the market outside of the Green Dragon Inn in the Extended Edition of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. In The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, he appeared as an auctioneer selling most of Bilbo Baggins's possessions and Bag End when the Hobbits thought he was deceased after being gone for so long until Bilbo himself arrived and showed his proof his status by showing Tosser his signature of Balin's contract.[source?] He was portrayed by Merv Smith (credited as "Mervyn Smith" in the end credits of the first film).
