The troll-men were a people in league with Sauron during the War of the Ring, driven off from the Battle of the Pelennor Fields by the knights of Dol Amroth. The troll-men were probably the same as the black men like half-trolls with white eyes and red tongues that were said to come from Far Harad.[1]
