Great to have u here and welcome to TG! Try the the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit movies next. I'm not kidding, they provide a great perspective to Tolkien's works. [[User:Arya|Arya]] 07:09, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

Also, u might want to check out The Art of the Hobbit by JRR Tolkien (obviously). It has some info on his ideas on Thor's map, Beorn's Hall, Lake-Town, and so on. I'm relatively new to the wonderful world of Tolkien, but eager to learn more. I recently started reading his work, covering the basics (Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion) first, and I'm now plowing my way through Unfinished Tales and The History of Middle-Earth, as well as Hammond & Scull's Companion and Foster's Complete Guide. I'm not sure what I will do with myself after that.

Be gentle with me - I'm learning as I go, and I'm sure I'll make plenty of mistakes along the way.
