:Ah! Thank you, I'll stop using them.  I thought they could be used to back up a summarized or paraphrased statement as evidence.  I'll remove all the notes that refer to quotes from something in the Legendarium. Those can just be a ref then. Sorry about that, I was trying to be thorough and convincing.  --[[User:Elf-esteem|Elf-esteem]] 00:58, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

Please stop putting double spaces between sentences. Not only has it been outdated since at least the mid-20th Century - being a hangover from when typists tried to mimic the slightly larger space in printed publications - but it isn't recognised by our wiki software which will simply display a single space instead. You must've noticed that I remove them whenever you include them, and the reason for this is that they upset the operations of bots. If you could refrain from double spacing, that would be great. --{{User:Mith/sig}} 11:30, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

My Current Projects

I try to just pick things from the To-do list. But, I get distracted by wanting to find the reference to something or correcting something that does not read the way it was probably intended. While I usually want to pick a page that has something to do with Elves, some of those pages are left with no new notes about what to do next or why it is still on the To-do list, and it is hard to know where to start. So, sometimes I just take a guess or go for the quick fix.

As much as I want to take on projects so that the source and clean-up tags can be removed from the page and they can be considered 'done', I do not think that is the end goal here. So, instead of worrying about finishing a page, I will just try to contribute to make it better.

  • Revising Eöl
  • Researched, Expanded, and Referenced the F out of Magic, seriously, there were no refs when I started
    • Finding refs for stuff marked for clarity and source
      • This page may never be done. :P I am willing to concede to that reality.
  • Contributions and Revisions for Thranduil
  • Minor Revisions for Mirkwood and Woodland Realm
    • Still need to work on some Third Age stuff
  • Merged Lady of the Star-brow with Erendis
  • Clarifying, on relevant pages' language sections, that are there ambiguities with the existence, influence, and / or extinction of Silvan Elvish, because it cannot be treated as an assumptive topic
  • Merged Nerwen with Galadriel
  • Merged Nólimon to Vardamir
  • Revised the Second Kinslaying page
  • Merged Wraith-world with Unseen
    • Continuing to merge various pages on the merge list
  • The Aegnor X Andreth project.
  • Uploading images (with artist permission)
  • Continuing to go back and fix stuff after receiving feedback. ^_^

A note about notes

Notes are really only if you need to explain something of an out-of-universe nature that doesn't fit in the narrative, not to quote a line from a source. For that, we can just use regular references and, if applicable, page numbers. --Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:22, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
