A note about notes

Notes are really only if you need to explain something of an out-of-universe nature that doesn't fit in the narrative, not to quote a line from a source. For that, we can just use regular references and, if applicable, page numbers. --Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:22, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ah! Thank you, I'll stop using them. I thought they could be used to back up a summarized or paraphrased statement as evidence. I'll remove all the notes that refer to quotes from something in the Legendarium. Those can just be a ref then. Sorry about that, I was trying to be thorough and convincing. --Elf-esteem 00:58, 9 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Double spaces

Please stop putting double spaces between sentences. Not only has it been outdated since at least the mid-20th Century - being a hangover from when typists tried to mimic the slightly larger space in printed publications - but it isn't recognised by our wiki software which will simply display a single space instead. You must've noticed that I remove them whenever you include them, and the reason for this is that they upset the operations of bots. If you could refrain from double spacing, that would be great. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 11:30, 19 January 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Although probably unintended, your tone oscillates between patronizing and pedantic. I will take this in the light that you simply want fewer mistakes to revisit. Understood. I did not realize my typing habit was an issue that negatively impacted the pages. I am sorry about that. I'll make an effort. I will try to look back through other pages I have worked on, too. --Elf-esteem 01:56, 20 January 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
