::::Ah those lists will definitely be helpful. I've been talking to Merri on irc.tolkiengateway.net, he said he's been busy but will get them added soon. We might as well just start on the English/German links as when Kontu gets around to adding the interwiki links all they'll have to do is translate it into English, and they can see the German translation by the link already present in the article. --[[User:Hyarion|Hyarion]] 11:55, 29 October 2007 (EDT)

Swyft, welcome!

Hello Hyarion, thank you. I think I will use this account mainly for Interwiki links to the Ardapedia. --swyft 15:15, 28 October 2007 (EDT)
Sounds good, I've been trying to think of the most efficient means of adding the links, so far I think our best bet is to use Special:Allpages and just compare the pages. It might be feasible to create a script to automatically crawl the Allpages looking for identical articles, but that might be more work than it's worth. As long as when we add a link, we make sure to add it across all the wikis I think we should be fine. --Hyarion 17:02, 28 October 2007 (EDT)
I think you're right. I dont't have any experience with scripts, so I know if that would be possible or useful and how much work it would be to write one. In the Ardapedia we have lists of names that were translated for the german versions of The Hobbit/Der Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings/Der Herr der Ringe and The Silmarillion/Das Silmarillion that might be useful; for LotR and Sil there are lists for persons/Personen, places/Orte and things/Sachen or other/Sonstiges. They can be found in the de:Kategorie:Übersetzungen, are sorted by the english name and contain links to our german articles. Do you have contact to the finnish Kontu? As far as I can see, they don't have activated interwiki-links to the Tolkien Gateway and the Ardapedia yet. Greetings, --swyft 09:04, 29 October 2007 (EDT)
