Valwë was the father of Lindo, the keeper of the Cottage of Lost Play on Tol Eressëa.[1][2]
Etymology
Valwë is a Qenya name. The Gnomish version of the name was Gwalweg. Patrick H. Wynne has suggested that both appear to mean "the happy (or fortunate) one".[3]
