Wolvercote Cemetery is a municipal cemetery in north Oxford. It is the final resting place of J.R.R. Tolkien. He was buried with his wife, Edith. Fr John Tolkien's grave is not far away from his parents'. Humphrey Carpenter is also buried in Wolvercote Cemetery.
