Yazneg was an Orc who was Azog's initial lieutenant during his pursuit of Thorin and Company in the Hobbit film series. He was played by John Rawls. His appearance was derived from early concept designs for Azog.[1]
History
He is probably from Gundabad as his master Azog.After spotting the Company of Dwarves camping out, Yazneg and the pack attempted to catch them as they approached Rivendell. Due to an attack by Elrond and his Elven forces, they were forced to retreat. Because of his failure to capture Thorin and his travelling companions, Azog ultimately threw Yazneg to the pack's Wargs to feast upon, with Fimbul becoming his new lieutenant.[2]
