Oaks

(Redirected from Oak)

The Oak was one of the most common trees in Middle-earth, found throughout the numerous forests. Thorin II became known as "Oakenshield" when he chopped off a bough of an oak to ward off the blows of enemies in the Battle of Nanduhirion.[1]
