The Quick Post was apparently the speediest way to send information within the Shire, perhaps a part of the Messenger Service. When the Chief had taken control of the Shire he used the old Quick Post service to gather information.[1]

- The Quick Post is the Shire's mail delivery service and is responsible for the timely and confidential delivery of letters, which the Hobbits write to each other in great numbers. The players can join the Quick Post and assist them in various deliveries between the towns and villages of the Shire.
