Talk:Werewolves

This article has the following section:

"It is probable that the Wargs of the Third Age were descended from the werewolves, as these wolves could speak, suggesting they had fëar. Another possibility is that Sauron attempted to recreate the werewolves after his return to Middle-earth, and that the Wargs were the result."

Although the section is cleverly written, it a) lacks sources, and b) is too much of speculation to appear in this place in the article. I would suggest instead basing this section (concerning the werewolves in the Third Age), on this quote instead:

"Not all [Sauron's] servants and chattels are wraiths! There are orcs and trolls, there are wargs and werewolves" (Gandalf; FR, "Many Meetings")

Anyone agrees or disagrees? --Morgan 12:59, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

I think this is something so obvious is should not even require debate. Cites always trump speculation. -- Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 13:16, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
