wing

From Tolkien Gateway

wing means "foam, spume, spindrift" in the tongue of the Green-elves of Ossiriand, as interpreted by the Elven loremasters after the destruction of Beleriand.[1]

Another conception is that wing was a Bëorian word.[2]
