A World for Children

"A World for Children" is the title of the first literary review of The Hobbit. It was written by C.S. Lewis and originally published in the Times Literary Supplement on 2 October 1937 (p. 714). In 1972 the review was reprinted as the chapter "The Hobbit" in the collection Of This and Other Worlds.[1]
