Benedict Cumberbatch is a British film, television, theatre and voice actor who will portray (through motion capture) and voice the dragon Smaug and voice the Necromancer in the upcoming adaptations of The Hobbit.[1] Cumberbatch stars with Martin Freeman in the BBC TV series Sherlock.
