it is unclear when it was writen or who exactly wrote the song but prehaps the song was as old as [[Goblin-town]] itself all we know is that it is sung by [[goblins]].

Clap! Snap! The black crack! is the song sung by the goblins as they descend into Goblin-town after capturing Thorin, the dwarves, and Bilbo Baggins (but not Gandalf).
