East

Far away in the East both the Firstborn, (the Elves), and the Secondborn (or: Afterborn) Children of Ilúvatar, (Men), had awakened. The first men to arrive from the East were the Edain, friends of the Elves. In later times, from the East came the Wild Men in service of Morgoth and Sauron.
