Template:Noncanon Freda is a character invented for Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings and is not considered canon. She and her older brother Éothain were sent by their mother Morwen to alert King Théoden that the "Wild Men" are pillaging through Rohan. Éothain and Freda are kept safe at Edoras until Théoden leads his people to Helm's Deep, where they are reunited with their mother.
