Geldrop is a Dutch town in the province of North Brabant with a neighbourhood, Genoenhuis, whose street names are Tolkien related. The neighbourhood also has a school called De Hobbit (The Hobbit), an assisted living facility called Meriadoc, a playground called Sam Gewissies (Sam Gamgee) and several other businesses named after Tolkien characters.
