The Headstrongs were a Hobbit family, probably well-to-do.[1] The only known member of the family, Malva Headstrong, married Gormadoc Brandybuck, a notable Master of Buckland.[2] While they were likely well off, the Headstrongs were not included in Tolkien's list of the wealthiest Hobbit families.[3]
