Holfast Gardner

Holfast Gardner (born 1462 by Shire Reckoning) was the son of Frodo Gardner, the second child and the eldest son of master Samwise Gamgee. His son was Harding of the Hill.

Etymology

Old English holfæst means "hole-firm" or "hole dweller".[1]
