Hyarmendacil II, T.A. 1391[1] - T.A. 1621,[2] born Vinyarion, was the twenty-fourth King of Gondor.
History
Vinyarion led Gondor's armies to avenge the death of his father, slain in a war with the Haradrim.[1] In T.A. 1551 he won a great victory over the Haradrim[3] and took the name Hyarmendacil II to commemorate this achievement.[1]
