The Lamb and Flag is a public house located in Oxford.

History[edit | edit source]

After c. 1960, members of the Inklings changed their meeting place to the Lamb and Flag after "The Bird and Baby" 'modernised' to their dislike.[1]

After the death of C.S. Lewis in 1963 they continued to meet at the Lamb and Flag, but without Lewis the meetings were eventually abandoned.[1]
