Joseph Wright 19?? is a letter from J.R.R. Tolkien to Joseph Wright, written sometime in or before 1930.
- Authenticity: High (provenance: the letter was kept by Elizabeth Mary Wright, wife of Joseph Wright)
- Publication: Brief extracts were published in The Life of Joseph Wright
- Contents: Tolkien reveals that it was Wright's works that had introduced him to philology as a schoolboy.[1]
