Mário Augusto de Almeida Braga (also, Mário Braga) (b.14 July, 1921)) was a Portuguese author, journalist,professor and translator.
Mário Braga became the first Portuguese translator of J.R.R. Tolkien's work, when he contributed for the first Portuguese-language edition of The Hobbit (O Gnomo), together with his wife Maria Isabel Braga.
