Pallando was one of the five Wizards who came to the northwest of Middle-earth in the Third Age. Along with Saruman, he journeyed into the east with Alatar as one of the Blue Wizards, and never returned to the western lands. The Men of the North knew very little about Pallando and Alatar, save that they called them Ithryn Luin (Blue Wizards) because of their sea-blue cloth.
