Portrayal in The Hobbit

I'm not sure I entirely agree with the reversion of the anon edit. Can we please have some clarity - and consistency across articles - about which actor(s) portrayed the character? Wikipedia's article on Conan Stevens supports the anon edit, whilst I can't find any reference to Conan Stevens in the cited footnote (although that footnote is almost worthless as there are no page numbers to go with it); all I can find is a photo in the book labelled as "Bolg" which was the Keeper orc and not the Bolg we saw on screen. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 11:11, 19 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This article on which 2.86.255.196 is fixated is presumably a post-Bolg-redesign-announcement amendment because, like it or not for him, Conan Stevens' Orc character is credited as 'Bolg' in AUJ. I will, however, add an addendum on the character's page that integrates the character's subsequent appearance in BOTFA. --BalrogTrainer 02:54, 20 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Although the edit in this article you reverted was actually correct (albeit the information was misplaced): "Bolg originally was to be played by Conan Stevens (via practical costume). However, he was portrayed by Lawrence Makoare in the second film and by John Tui in the third film. Both actors portrayed him via motion-capture and CG ." I want to see references in this article. Proper references, not just an entire book or an entire film. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 09:29, 20 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Should we change the image in the portrayal in adaptations section? The current image is rather low quality and has quite a bit of motion blur--Insert unfunny orc joke here 07:54, 10 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
