::I had to check this. I found two occurrences of the name: in chapters ''Elrond's Council'' (2004 and 2005 editions: p. 244; 1981 (4th) edition, paperback: p. I/320) and ''Homeward Bound'' (2004 and 2005 editions: p. 993; 1981 edition: p. III/331); the name is always Deadmen's Dike. Same in the Indexes of 2004 and 2005 editions.
