I thought it would be a good idea to create a template to be displayed on all of the gifts' articles. Then I realized we lack articles for most of these items. Does anyone protest to creating less than notable articles such as Sheath of Andúril or Silver belt or Small grey wooden box...the naming on a few of these may prove difficult. What do you guys think? --Hyarion 01:37, 23 July 2006 (EDT)

That is a good idea.  The names I would suggest are as follows:
* Andúril's sheath
* Eagle Elfstone, Elfstone brooch, or Aragorn's Elfstone
* Boromir's belt
* Silver belt, Silver hobbit belt, or Merry and Pippin's belts.  None are very good, but I can't think of better ones.
* Galadriel's box, Garden box, or Sam's garden box
* Galadriel's hair strands.  Another one that needs a better name.
* Phial of Galadriel.  Or do we already have an article on this one?
All of the above could do with improvement. --Narfil Palùrfalas 12:45, 23 July 2006 (EDT)

Template and new articles[edit source]

I thought it would be a good idea to create a template to be displayed on all of the gifts' articles. Then I realized we lack articles for most of these items. Does anyone protest to creating less than notable articles such as Sheath of Andúril or Silver belt or Small grey wooden box...the naming on a few of these may prove difficult.
