First Weapons in Valinor?

This seems like it might not be accurate; what's the exact wording in the source? If I remember correctly, Fëanor may have invented the first Valinorean swords, possibly armor as well, but didn't the Elves hunt for sport and food before Fëanor got into his angry weaponsmithing phase? This would have occurred after the release of Melkor from the Halls of Mandos, if I'm not mistaken. Corsair Caruso 17:04, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
