The text on this page says "Baldor was probably wounded by the last living remnants of Men of Darkness beyond the Dark Door and left there to die," leading to footnote #5, which is stated that this interpretation can be found in the Reader's Companion, "The Last Debate." BUT the problem is that RC does not include this reference, and neither does anything else I can find.

Is there someone else who is familiar with this interpretation and its actual source? If so, can you please provide an accurate footnote? —Unsigned comment by Ed8r (talk • contribs).

Thank you for spotting the lack of a precise reference with a footnote for this theory. I changed it to say that is merely possilbe, provided information that supports that possibility and added references with page numbers. Nicely done. I indeed have these references, in fact I really ought to have thought to go back to the chapter on "The Grey Company" in the Reader's Companion. Thanks for fleshing out the theory and its original source, which I had had no memory of, in spite of reading the entire RC when it was published.Ed8r (talk) 13:38, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
