Rewrite

This article needs a total rewrite. The "History" section looks like a character study, when it is suppoused to be an easy and ordered narrative of the character's life. Those lists of his ships and travels will be useful in a separated section, but not where they are now. --LorenzoCB 18:59, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

I agree that the article needs a rewrite. Aldarion is probably the King of Númenor about whose life the largest amount of details are known. Due to his travels to Middle-earth, especially to Lindon and Eriador the information about his life is also important for the history of Lindon, Eriador, including Minhiriath, Enedwaith, the river Gwathló, the haven of Vinyalondë, Tharbad and the events before the War of the Elves and Sauron. I am not sure whether a purely chronological ordering of the events in his life is the best choice. Keeping his voyages to Middle-earth in a separate section apart from what happened in between his voyages in Númenor, may still be appropriate. I will add some more details first.
