I was initially planning on adding the information about the publication details about the 2nd and 3rd editions. However, I was a bit confused by the statement on Shippey's official page that there is a 4th edition of the book -- can anyone confirm this (does it need to be confirmed?)? --[[User:Morgan|Morgan]] 16:41, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

:Hm, I'm not aware of a 4th edition either. Maybe Shippey is counting the [http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Road-Middle-earth-Tolkien-mythology/dp/0261102753 2005 re-issue] as the 4th edition...? I have a feeling it's just a typo. The site where I double check things like this [http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Tom_Shippey#Books does not mention a 4th edition] so that's what I'm going with :)  --[[User:Hyarion|Hyarion]] 02:29, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

I was initially planning on adding the information about the publication details about the 2nd and 3rd editions. However, I was a bit confused by the statement on Shippey's official page that there is a 4th edition of the book -- can anyone confirm this (does it need to be confirmed?)? --Morgan 16:41, 18 August 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
