Tauremorna is one of the names of the Fangorn Forest, used by Treebeard in his song In the willow-meads of Tasarinan I walked in the Spring (LoTR II/3., Ch. 4). The other names mentioned by Treebeard are Ambaróna and Aldalómë.

J.R.R. Tolkien notes in his Unfinished Index that tauremorna means 'black forest' (quoted in Scull - Hammond, Reader's Companion, p. 385). Cf. the Quenya words taurë '(great) wood, forest', and morna 'dark, black'. See also: Letters, p. 308 (Letter 230) and pp. 382-383 (Letter 297).
