The Fictitious Characters of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien is the title of a study of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. The work includes the first appearance in print (pp. 125-6) of an autobiographical letter by Tolkien from 1958, later published as Letter 213 in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.[1]
