The J.R.R Tolkien Calendar 1974 was the first official Tolkien calendar published by George Allen & Unwin in August 1973. It features art by J.R.R. Tolkien and Pauline Baynes. The cover photographer was Billett Potter.
Tolkien passed away on 2 September 1973. However a copy of this 1974 Calendar was signed by Tolkien before his death, presumably in August 1973, making it one of the last items he signed.[1]
