The Making of The Lord of the Rings is an 8-page booklet by Rayner Unwin, published in August 1992 by W.A.Meeuws.[1]

Originally, only 250 copies were made for the Centenary celebrations at Keble College, Oxford. 12 copies contained Italian hand-made marble paper covered boards and a linen spine.[2] In 2007, 100 more copies were printed.[3]
