Third Age 2800 (abbreviated to T.A. 2800) is the 2800th year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 2800 was also known as S.R. 1200 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Orcs of the Misty Mountains, fleeing from the War of the Dwarves and Orcs, seek refuge to the White Mountains to the south.[1]
- Orcs from the North start to trouble Rohan.[2]
- Birth of Wiseman Gamwich, son of Hamfast of Gamwich.[3]
